February Visualisation: Falling in Love with Your Creativity

It’s not always easy to keep the romance going with your creativity - visualisation will help to re-kindle it.

I’m really thrilled to bring you – at the very last minute!- February’s visualisation. I knew I wanted to do one especially for the month of romance and have the gothic feel I love, so this is a magical visit to an ivy clad house at dusk, filled with all the creative inspiration you could desire.

Visualisations are a wonderful way of slipping past the noisy, overthinking mind (something I really struggle with) and into something deeper—something instinctual and true. They work by immersing you in a sensory, imagined world where new insights and emotions can emerge naturally, without force.

If you’re feeling creatively blocked, lost, or just a bit indifferent to the whole thing, this practice isn’t about trying to feel inspired. It’s about stepping into a space where inspiration can find you.

To get the most out of it, listen somewhere quiet, where you won’t be disturbed. Let yourself relax into the imagery, engaging all your senses. There’s no need to ‘get it right’—just notice what comes up. As I mentioned with the January visualisation, don’t worry if you fall asleep! You no doubt needed that nap and you can ask ways listen again. Afterwards, take a moment to reflect. What stayed with you? What shifted? What might be calling you back to creativity?

The mind can argue with logic, but it struggles to argue with feeling. And that’s what visualisation is for—helping you feel your way back to what you love.

If enjoy this visualisation please share it with others!
